About the trust
Rooted in Malwa. Serving across Punjab.
Sikh Virsa Dal Punjab is more than an organisation. It is a movement dedicated to keeping alive the humanist philosophy, the spirit of seva and the cultural inheritance given to us by the Gurus. It works for the soil of Punjab, for its rich heritage, and for humanity in need.
Saplings are planted and then cared for over years — not photographed once and abandoned.
The trust began with a group of sevadars in Bhikhi who saw two things happening at once — a generation drifting away from its own heritage, and a land losing its trees and its groundwater. The work is deliberately practical. Dastar competitions and Gurbani recitations are held where young people already gather. Medical camps run where the nearest hospital is far away. Help towards a daughter’s marriage is given quietly, without making a family stand in a queue for it.

Environment & Green Drive
Trees, water and the land
Punjab’s water table is falling and its tree cover is thin. We work on both — and we stay with what we plant.
- Large-scale plantation drives in villages, schools and on gurdwara land

Heritage & Education
Language, Gurmat, dastar, Gatka and schooling
Carrying Punjabi language, Gurmat values and a fading Sikh legacy to the next generation — and keeping children in school.
